The November 22 2009 edition of The Sunday Times did a special story about the rise of online video websites in Singapore. One of the artworks I did for Wacom/Klik made it in.
Here’s the original poster and then some…
Finally got around to updating my portfolio since my last web design got erased on WordPress. I’ve been getting a lot of views on that page, so here you go for the people who are interested.
There are two versions, one with thumbnails and one with text categories.
Recently, I lost 400GB of my music and projects because of an HD crash.
This week, my brother flew to Singapore from New York and brought with him his music library which included a ton of my old tracks; many of which I had completely forgotten about. One of those old tracks was this remix sampler of my very first album when I was purely a Rap music producer. I remember it was around this time that producing started to click for me and I thought I should start taking it more seriously. I started to gain a bit of recognition around the net and then started moving offline, which for some reason I got more RnB work.
I can’t remember what the names of the songs are, but the lineup goes: Young Buck, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Lloyd Banks, Fat Joe, Xzibit, David Banner
It was only around 2006 that I started concentrating more on RnB. To hear my RnB work, check out my Ice Box remix.

Just for kicks, this is how my production setup has looked throughout the years:
2003 – New York. Mannn, I had no business having that much music gear.

My time as the creative consultant with FOX Mobile Distribution is up and I’ve started to look for a better position for me in Singapore. My time with FOX was awesome, I learned a lot and appreciated everybody who willingly or unwillingly gave me advice and direction while I was there; couldn’t have asked for a better experience (unless they could have given me a visa to stay in FOX Mobile Studios!).
Anyways, I was recommended to interview at The Moving Visuals, and was impressed with what I’ve seen so far from them. I’ve now been hired as their interactive designer/producer, and hopefully will bring to them what I did with FOX. I’m excited to start this new chapter of my life, and intrigued where this road will take me.
I updated my resume and portfolio since my student one. Instead of a huge booklet, business card, and flash projector DVD like last time, I opted for just a double-side printed A3 paper with a front cover, inside project showcase linking to Davadrian.Com, and a back with my resume. It cost quite a bit of moola to print copies of these babies, but I looked at it as an investment in my career… and in the end it paid off.
